LHM announces 52 sports schedule for 2021-2022 season

“With COVID-19 vaccination rates rising and provincial restrictions easing, we are pleased to announce plans for a 52-game season,” said MHL President Steve Diekman. Somerside Western Capitals were relegated to the Eastlink South section last season due to health restrictions, but would return to the Eastlink North section, with the balance restored to six teams per section. Twelve teams in the MHL are currently preparing for a circuit draft broadcast by HockeyTech and Rinknet to be held online on 10 July.
