Sweden’s Anna Nordquist took top honors at the British LPGA Open Sunday in Carnoustie, Scotland.
The 34-year-old thus secured her third major tournament win and 11th on the prestigious women’s circuit. To do so, he made four birdies and made a single mistake in the fourth round, which allowed him to be handed a card of 69 (-3).
“I’ve been waiting for this win for a while, because I haven’t won for a few years,” said the woman, who won her last major tournament in 2017.

His total of 282 (-6) shots put him on a par with six other golfers for 13th place in the final standings.
This is the eighth consecutive competition where the Ontarian is unable to finish in the top 10, a first for him since playing in the LPGA. However, Henderson finished in the top 25 out of the five majors in the 2021 campaign.
The 23-year-old golfer will now be entitled to a three-week break.
