Ravens v. Browns final score: Lamar Jackson, who created Cleveland defense as a spotter in Baker Mayfield's offense.

The Baltimore Ravens spent the last seven months behind the Titans losing a disappointing playoff. They took all those frustrations out on Sunday afternoon at rival Cleveland Browns. Baltimore jumped to Cleveland early, converted a point by wide receiver de Dale Beckham Jr. before halftime and continued the attack until the end of the game, 38-6.

Mark Andrews, quarterback Lamar Jackson shone once again outside the poorly thrown touchdown pass until the tight end. He only threw five imperfections and used his screaming opportunities to dance around the competition. Wide receivers Marquis Brown and Andrews were fantastic against the undefeated Browns secondary.

There were very few bright spots for Cleveland. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry and tight end David Jojoku made the mark but, overall, the team struggled to create an isolation downfield.

Why Ravens won

It’s 1 week so the commentary will be easy before the story goes too far. Jackson was incredible. Football is an extension of his body. He threw Andrews a third and long down the field in addition to pushing Brown for a huge advantage. When the pocket broke, he escaped and found a positive yard.

Much of the se fisson is constantly debated for ason and it played as expected at the M&T Bank Stadium. Baltimore returned the lion’s share of their initial offensive unit. There was no flickering between the conclusion of the 2020 NFL Plays and the start of the 2020 regular season campaign.

Why Brown lost

Where does it begin when the task of explaining how the Browns lost is assigned? It could be the first half drop by Beckham on the third-2 and 2 that allowed Baltimore to come on the field and secure points before halftime. It could be malpractice issues with the defensive line. It could be that Baker Mayfield is still not ready to take the check downs given to him. Pass Catcher may have an inability to create a downfield. It could be the equally favorable lack of plaque and pass rush offered by Cleveland’s secondary. It can be a combination of all those things and more.

Play the game

After the team signed Austin Hooper and drafted Harrison Bryant, Jojoku requested a trade deal. It’s good that Cleveland wasn’t responsible because Jokoku was one of the few bright spots for this team. Second and 10th off Cleveland’s 41-yard line, Mayfield threw a jump ball near Jojoku, who did the rest. With Town Young in coverage, Joko grew it and took the ball to its peak for Cleveland’s biggest plays in the game.

What’s next

The Cincinnati Bengals – Cleveland’s second AFC North home game against home rivals on Thursday night footbal on. Baltimore will make their way for the first time this season as they face Houston Texans and quarterback Deshaun Watson next weekend.
