In an interview with the Daily Record, Ugandan defender Bevis Mugabi opened up about his feelings upon signing with Scottish club, Motherwell FC. He admits to being proud to belong to this first-class team and feels ready to extend his contract.

Bevis Mugaby joined Motherwell FC from Yeoville FC, another Scottish League club relegated to the Second Division in 2018–19. He signed for a contract that will run until January 2020 until September 12, 2019, and then until the summer of 2021. At the moment, Mugabi feels good with the club that is giving him enough playing time. The 26-year-old Ugandan has made 12 Premiership appearances and defends the club’s colors well. Speaking to the Daily Record, he revealed his happiness and felt ready to extend his lease for the second time.

“I think I played well for the coach. So I can just focus on my performance and if they want to keep me, I’m here… I love Motherwell. I love the club, I like the people here. To be honest I treat everyone well here. It would definitely be a nice place to settle down,” lauded the crane defender.
