His father wanted him to become a priest. He who was born on October 16, 1882 and died 91 years later, loved to carry another good word around the world: that is football. Jimmy Hogan became a legend as a minor striker coach of the early 1900s in Burnley, Fulham, Swindon Town or even Bolton. A profession in which he coincidentally took over somewhat after the Wanderers’ tour in the Netherlands in 1910.
