On Monday evening, groups were drawn for World Cup qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The German team was drawn in a relatively simple group, while on the other hand, Italy has one or other endurance test ahead of them.

Azzurri was assigned to Group C, which also includes Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria and Lithuania. Only the first one in the table can be directly qualified. The second-placed teams must play in the play-offs for the remaining three World Cup tickets, along with the two group winners of the United Nations (Group A). Italy need not fear anyone in its group, but Switzerland and Northern Ireland in particular should not underestimate Roberto Mancini’s troops.

The DFB-Elf was formed into a fairly simple group with Romania, Iceland, North Macedonia, Armenia and Liechtenstein. Jogi Lowe’s team, which is in the midst of a sporting crisis, should not underestimate any opponent, otherwise this qualification group may also be defeated.
