If you are keen to try Pikmin 3 Deluxe Before being released later this month on October 30, Nintendo has now released a free demo on SwitchShop.
It allows you to test the game’s story mode and mission mode manually or through another player. If you end up buying the entire game digitally, your progress will be made throughout the demo. You can also unlock the “ultra-spicy” trouble option in the full version if you beat the first boss in the demo. This difficulty is typical for the deluxe version of the game.
Whether you’re playing Pikmin 3 for the first time or returning to the game after many years – according to Nintendo, everyone has a reason to try it:
If this is your first trip with Pikmin’s Platoon, this demo is a great opportunity to get your feet wet. (Just be sure to wet Blue Pikmin while you’re there!) If you’re a returning Pikmin pro, once you’ve purchased, this is your chance to lock in this extra hard trouble option for full release.
