Young goalkeeper Dan Barden is diagnosed with testicular cancer

Norwich young Welsh goalkeeper Dan Barden, who is currently on loan for Scotland (20), is down with testicular cancer.

Challenge after worry. With young Welsh goalkeeper Dan Barden under contract until 2024 norwich (20th in the Premier League) and loaned Livingston (10th in the Scottish D1) this season, announced on Monday that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He will have to undergo treatment before returning to the field.

Dan Barden explains, “It’s been a very difficult time, but the support of my family, friends and coworkers has helped me over the past few weeks.” (…) The initial diagnosis was a real shock to me. But what’s cool is that we caught it early and the prognosis and next steps have all been positive.”
