Where does the rugby world cup take place?
Japan is hosting the ninth Rugby World Cup. In the application, the Japanese prevailed against England, Italy and South Africa. This is the first time that the Rugby World Cup has been held in any Asian country. The games will be played in twelve cities (Yokohama, Fukuroi, Chofu (suburbs of Tokyo), Toyota, Sapporo, Oita, Kumamoto, Kobe, Kumayaya, Higashiosaka, Fukuoka, Kamishi).
What is the rugby world cup like?
Teams from 20 countries play for the title. The preliminary round is divided into four groups of five, of which the first two places qualify for the quarter-finals. The first three teams in each group are allowed to participate in the 2023 World Cup.
