The Goodwood Festival Speed, Revival, and Member Meetings, which were canceled in 2021 due to the Covid-19 epidemic, are planned to move forward in 2021.
The 78th member meeting, originally scheduled for March 2020, is now scheduled for May 15-16, 2021, when members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club and its guests will be allowed to attend.
Then on July 8, the festival is set to move forward with the theme ‘The Maestro – Motorsports’ Great Mot-Rounders’. The event will be open to the public as usual, allowing motoring enthusiasts to see cars of all ages on the 1.16-mile hill at Goodwood House.
Finally, the resurrection will take place on September 17-19, with classic cars from 1948 to 1966 taking part in the race for the historic motor circuit. Like a festival of motion, the Rev Revival will be open to the public.
All three events will be run in accordance with government guidelines on Covid-19 and social distance. After being forced to cancel its flagship motorsport events in 2020, Goodwood hosted a closed-door Speedweek show in October-October, where the race was broadcast online and on TV.
Duke R. F. Richman, owner of the Goodwood Estate, said: “More than anything else, there are people who make our events special – the drivers, the teams, our staff and all the fans above.
“We were extremely disappointed not to be able to welcome them to our very favorite events in 2020. Now, we can announce that we are delighted when we plan to return all three motorsport events next year.
“Thanks to all our loyal followers who either rolled their tickets or joined the Goodwood Supporters Association, who helped us a lot during a very tough year. We absolutely can’t wait to see him and many new fans in 2121. “
