The Halifax Moshheads on Thursday fired their head coach Jean-Jack Densiault, who saw his two-season stint with the organization.

The former Montreal Canadiens defenseman was hired in 2019 after being an assistant coach with the San Antonio Rampage in the American Hockey League. However, his time in Nova Scotia was quite successful, with Moseheads scoring just 35 wins in 106 matches under his game.
This season, Halifax set a good 15–19–9 record for 39 points. The team could not participate in the playoffs, with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League justifying a very long delayed decision to inaugurate the Atlantic bubble.
He said, ‘The last two campaigns have been made again after playing in the 2019 Memorial Cup. This year we had the youngest roster in the league. Certainly, our youth have been able to develop in a significant way during this revamped calendar and Denzialt deserves credit for it. “I want to thank him for his leadership and wish him the best in his coaching efforts,” said former Bobby Smith, the Mooseheads majority owner, in a statement.
“I would like to acknowledge Jean-Jack Densiel’s hard work and his dedication to the players and the organization,” said general manager Cam Russell. I am sure he will succeed as an instructor of our league or pro rank. “
Densiault worked as an assistant to the Canadiens from 2012 to 2018.
