Thomas Peters finishes 12th at Irish Open, Australian Lucas Herbert wins

With the final lap in 69 strokes, three under par, Thomas Peters Sunday finished 12th in the Irish Open Golf, a €3 million European Tour tournament at Mount Juliet Course in Thomastown.

Peters returned a card with five birdies and two bogeys. He finished with a total of 276, the Antwerp player having seven more strokes than the Australian. Lucas Herbert, who led the proceedings from start to finish and won by three strokes ahead of Sweden Ricard Karlberg.

Nicolas Kolserts returned the last card of 71. With one eagle, two birdies and three bogeys, he took six places in the standings and finished 51st.
