The Scottish premiership for Daundy equalized in extra time for Daundy to allow them to snatch overtime against Bonnirig Rose in the second round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday. The player, on loan from Celtic, in a way allowed his team to qualify for the next round, as Dundee won (3–2).

The center-forward’s enthusiasm diminished sharply following several racist messages on his Instagram account at the end of the match. Afolabi immediately got the support of his club which communicated on his Twitter account: Following last night’s Scottish Cup win against Bonnarig Rose, we were told about the Ville racist messages addressed to one of our players. Dundee Football Club strongly condemns racism in all its forms. ” In another tweet, the club clarified that it “These crimes were reported to the Scottish Police” . The league comes one week after similar events following Dundee’s match against Heart of Midlothian.
