If you missed Episode 1, you can catch up here

The serial features four main characters:

Nora – The middle manager running the office, doing her best to keep staff motivated and her bosses off her back.

Played by Natalie Clark

Glasgow-based actress Natalie graduated from Motherwell College in 2001 and over the years has played iconic roles such as Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Lavinia in Titus Andronicus,  and Hope in the musical Anything Goes. As much as Natalie loves a good classic role she also has a passion for character acting, ageing up and down with roles ranging from eight to 80! She’s been everything from a dragon to a Snow Queen. A self-confessed geek, she also starred as the companion in a feature-length Dr Who tribute film. Coming up next for her is a small tour in South Lanarkshire with a production of It’s a Wonderful Life.

Tony  – Has worked in the office for around 15 years and is still in the position that he started in. He turns in the absolute minimum each day, but his charm usually keeps him out of bother.

Played by Tom Brogan

Tom writes plays and acted in the first series of Limmy’s Show. He’s currently at work on a book about the history of Clydebank FC.

Lynne – Smart and spikey, she usually has a comeback for any situation and doesn’t suffer fools. Doesn’t see this job as long term despite already working in the office for four years.

Played by Johanna Harper

When she isn’t acting, Johanna is most likely to be found drinking black coffee and talking to her cats. She’s no stranger to the stage and is a founding member of local am-dram theatre group Bookends, through which she’s had the pleasure of playing many roles, including Shelby Eatenton in Steel Magnolias and Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest.  (Johanna would like to apologise to her fellow Small Mercies cast-mates for getting the Benny Hill theme tune stuck in their heads for a week straight. And, now, dear listener, she says sorry to you too.)

Patrick – Is trying to work his way up, but isn’t really getting anywhere. Has problems with timekeeping and concentrating on his actual job.

Played by Paul Kozinski

Paul is proud to have been born and bred in Glasgow, appearing on stage for the first time as a chicken in a primary one play. Since then he’s enjoyed many stints on stage, screen and even behind the camera once or twice. Highlights along the way include playing one of the confused duo of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and making a short Western film in Scotland with only the pennies in his pockets and the generosity of his co-workers. Away from the stage and screen, Paul also co-hosts The Nearly Men Video Games podcast and enjoys family life.
