In the Scottish regional elections, the ruling Scottish National Party (SNP) won an impressive victory. It won 64 out of 129 seats in the Scottish Parliament. This meant that the absolute majority had missed only one seat. But as another party with 9 seats has moved to Parliament, which speaks for the independence of Scotland, the train towards independent Scotland has again gained momentum.
The Bavarian Party extends its heartfelt congratulations to its Scottish partner party SNP on the success of the election. Both parties, as members of the European Free Alliance (EFA), stand for the right to self-determination.
The EFA has more than 40 parties from all over Europe united. Including Z. B. Flanders and Catalonia or South Tyrol are also parties to independence.
The president of the Bavarian Party, Florian Weber, was delighted with the result in Scotland and said: “This election result is not only a great victory for our Scottish friends, but a strong signal for all those who subsidize and strengthen the regional self Want to do. – Strong determination.
Of course, the same applies to Bavaria. If you look at the majority opinion in Germany, you can see that Bavaria will go into many areas of politics in other ways. This is one of several reasons why the Bavarian Party advocates an independent Bavaria in a peaceful Europe. ”
