Scotland – Premiership: Celtic face promoted Hearts entry

For their first match of the 2021-2022 season, Celtic will battle with the promoted, Hearts. Ange Postecoglu and his team will head to Tynecastle to try to make a good entry for the new season.

Celtic will face the Hearts at Tynecastle for the start of the season. With fans likely to keep coming back, this clash promises to be thrilling and deserves a season-opener. The 55-year-old Greek-Australian Ange Postekoglu has no experience in British football. But a trip to Georgia will likely give him a guide to his debut. Especially since some fans will be in the stadium at least until then.

Edinburgh and Glasgow are currently on Level 2 lockdown restrictions. Which means clubs can accommodate up to 500 spectators outside with social distancing without government exemptions. This is what happened with the recent play-offs of the SPFL. But they can also ask for permission to host more supporters. This is possible only if all their health protocols are in place.

Hearts – Celtic is generally a high-stress sport. But Celtic fans are unlikely to be able to visit. The Hearts will hoist the flag of the Second Division champions before the game against Celtic.
