NASA: NASA recently released a photo of Mars Perseverance Rover. It is named after the Rover EF Crossbeam (bottom right) with 3,000 chips and about 11 million people living on Earth. The full-resolution image was taken by the rover’s left navigation camera (NavCam) on February 28, 2021. All these names were donated by people from all over the world in the show Your Name to Mars program. Those who are unable to take advantage of this opportunity can register to add their name to Mars on the next Mars mission.
These chips also include competitive essays won by students. It is an experimental helicopter maneuver that took the Perseverance Rover to Mars.
