“Red Lions” are in short supply in Scotland

On Wednesday, “Root Leven” lost only 1–0 to Norway, on Sunday they played against the Scottish national team at Josie Barthel Stadium and eventually lost again O:1.

Luxembourg could have taken the lead in the eighth minute, but the Scottish goalkeeper narrowly saved Vahid Selimovic’s shot. Scots took the lead in the 27th minute.

Soon after, near-goal scorer Selimovic caused a heated scene when he tried to stop Scott Dykes with the emergency brake. He got a red card.
