Impressive images show the moment a yacht was towed by a powerful wave during the passage of Hurricane Yelenia in Hamburg, Germany. Passengers were thrown out of their seats, and the ferry began to flood. Fortunately, no one was reported to be injured.

Germany was swept away by strong winds fed by Hurricane Yelenia on Wednesday evening. Trees were downed due to bad weather, flights and trains were canceled and schools were closed in many landers. Police also warned people not to go into parks and forests, for example in Berlin and Hamburg.

The German meteorological services recorded winds of 120 km/h, with a peak of 152 km/h, for about thirty minutes, at the highest point in northern Germany, in the Harz mountain region at the beginning of Broken Thursday.
